Love the Lord with All Your Heart – A Devotion That Shapes Everything

Deuteronomy 6:5

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.”

This verse isn’t just a suggestion—it’s a heartbeat. A compass. A call to live with God at the center of everything.

It means our love for Him should shape:

  • The way we speak

  • The way we give

  • The way we forgive

  • The way we work, parent, and rest

Loving God with our whole heart is not about being perfect—it’s about being devoted. When our lives flow from that love, everything else falls into its rightful place.

A Prayer for Today

God, I want to love You with all of me. Teach me how to love You with my time, my energy, my thoughts, and my desires. Let my heart be fully Yours. Amen.
