Prayer Blanket Ministry

What this ministry is

Each blanket is lovingly made and prayed over. Every knot represents a specific prayer for the recipient’s peace, strength, healing, and hope.

“I love the LORD, for He heard my voice; He heard my cry for mercy.” —Psalm 116:1

Who it’s for

  • Illness, surgery, or recovery

  • Grief and loss

  • Anxiety or difficult seasons

  • Newborns and adoption celebrations

  • “Just because” encouragement

How blankets are shared

Blankets are prayerfully prepared and distributed through our school community as needs become known. Our heart is simply to come alongside families with quiet encouragement in Christ.

Our promise

  • Prayer first. We pray over every blanket in Jesus’ name.

  • Free and discreet. These are gifts of love—no cost, no fanfare.

  • Gentle privacy. We handle every situation with care and dignity.

Donations are welcome to help cover fabric (typically $50 per blanket), but there is no expectation to give. (venmo @sheila-hara)

Care Instructions

Your prayer blanket may be machine washed and dried.
To reduce wear and fading, wash in cold water and line dry when possible.
Before washing, tighten any loose knots.
