Remember the Lord – Don’t Forget Who Brought You Here

Deuteronomy 8:2

“Remember how the Lord your God led you all the way in the wilderness these forty years...”

Before the Promised Land came the wilderness. And in that wilderness, God provided manna, protection, and mercy—even when His people forgot Him.

We’re quick to move forward in life, but Scripture gently calls us to pause and remember. Not just the blessings, but the journey.

  • The nights He comforted you

  • The miracles you almost missed

  • The daily grace that got you here

Looking back in faith helps us walk forward in trust. He’s not only the God of your destination—He’s the God of your whole story.

A Prayer for Today

Lord, help me not to forget. Remind me of Your faithfulness in the wilderness and Your presence through every trial. Thank You for walking with me every step of the way. Amen.
