The White Netted Veil – When Holiness Feels Hidden
Before I begin, here’s my gentle reminder: I’m not a pastor or dream expert—just a woman who loves Jesus, listens with an open heart, and writes down what I see in the night. These posts are my personal reflections, offered humbly and prayerfully.
💤 The Dream
I dreamed of a woman wearing a white netted veil—soft, translucent, and full of quiet beauty. I couldn’t see her full face, just gentle eyes peeking through the netting. She looked peaceful… but hidden.
The image stayed with me—so simple, yet stirring. I asked the Lord, “What are You showing me?”
🔍 What the Bible Says
In Scripture, veils show up in two powerful ways:
Separation and Mystery
In the Old Testament, the veil in the temple separated God’s presence from the people (Exodus 26:33).
Only the high priest could pass through—and only once a year.
Intimacy and Identity
In Genesis 24, Rebekah veiled herself when meeting Isaac—it was a sign of modesty and sacred union.
And in 2 Corinthians 3:16, Paul writes:
“But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.”
The white in the veil speaks of purity. The netting suggests something partially seen—like we’re on the edge of understanding, or in the middle of transformation.
💡 What God Showed Me
This dream was a whisper:
“You’re covered—but I’m calling you deeper.”
I felt the Lord showing me two things:
I’m His—veiled in His righteousness, not my own. There’s beauty in being hidden in Him.
But also… there’s more. The netting wasn’t a full covering. It was a season of transition—from partial to full vision, from veiled worship to face-to-face glory.
Sometimes in our walk with Jesus, we feel in between: we’re not who we were, but we’re not fully where we’re going. That’s the veil. That’s the mystery. And it’s holy ground.
🕊️ Devotional Thought
“But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed…”
– 2 Corinthians 3:18
Are you in a season where God feels quiet? Where you feel hidden? Or like others can’t see who you truly are? The veil isn’t rejection—it’s invitation.
God often covers what He’s anointing—not to hide it, but to protect it until the appointed time.
Reflection Questions:
What parts of your life feel “veiled” right now?
Are you willing to trust God in the mystery?
What would it look like to move closer—face to face—with Him?
Closing
God sees through the veil. And the truth is—He’s not distant. He’s close.
Sometimes the veil is not between us and Him, but between who we think we are and who He’s calling us to become.
So take heart if you're in the in-between. He’s preparing you. Protecting you. And when the time is right, the veil will lift, and you’ll shine.
You’re covered. And you’re called.
