Choose Life – When God Gives You a Holy Choice
Deuteronomy 30:19
“This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses… I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life…”
God could have created us as robots—programmed to obey, trust, and follow. But instead, He gave us something sacred: a choice.
Each day, in every season, God places before us two paths. One leads to life—peace, purpose, and closeness with Him. The other leads to distance, anxiety, and confusion. He doesn’t force us… but He pleads with us.
“Now choose life.”
Choosing life means saying yes to love, to forgiveness, to truth.
It means letting go of fear, bitterness, and the need to control.
It means listening to His voice, even when it’s quieter than the noise of the world.
A Prayer for Today
Lord, thank You for giving me a choice. Help me to choose life in my thoughts, my words, and my actions today. Teach me to walk the path of blessing and obedience, one small step at a time. Amen.
