The Signal and the Spirit – When God Turns Up the Volume

As always, here’s your gentle reminder: I’m not a theologian or a dream expert. I’m just a daughter of Jesus, holding onto His hand and writing down what I sense in the dark so I can live it in the light. These reflections are my honest offering—always through the lens of Scripture and wonder.

💤 The Dream 📡

I didn’t see a full scene—just a feeling.
Words like “signal boosting” and “amplifying” kept surfacing.

It felt like I was standing near a speaker being turned up. Like something important was being transmitted—and it needed to go further, reach farther, cut through static.

I didn’t know what it meant right away. But I woke up knowing this wasn’t just tech talk. This was spirit language.

🔍 What the Bible Says

📣 Amplifying the Message

“Cry aloud; do not hold back; lift up your voice like a trumpet…”Isaiah 58:1
“Proclaim the message; persist in it whether convenient or not…”2 Timothy 4:2 (CSB)

God doesn’t just speak quietly—He also calls His people to broadcast. To amplify truth in a world full of noise. Sometimes He gives a message, and then He boosts it through us.

🔌 The Power Source

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses…”Acts 1:8

You can have the signal. But without power, it’s faint.

This verse reminded me: the Holy Spirit is the amplifier. He takes what we whisper in faith and turns it into a roar for the Kingdom. He strengthens our yes, even when we feel small.

💡 The Frequency of Faith

“Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, ‘This is the way; walk in it.’”Isaiah 30:21

To boost a signal, you first need to tune in.

The dream reminded me that sometimes I’ve been transmitting on the wrong frequency—listening more to culture, comparison, or doubt than to God. But when I tune in to His voice, He not only speaks—He sends.

💡 What God Showed Me

This dream felt like a commissioning.

Not to do more…
But to say yes more boldly.
To turn up the truth.
To let Him amplify what’s already been planted.

“You’ve carried the message faithfully. Now I’m extending the reach.”

I sensed God saying:

“It’s not about volume for attention. It’s about clarity for impact.”
“You’re not shouting—you’re shining.”
“Let Me carry your voice further than you ever could.”

🕊️ Devotional Thought

“What I tell you in the dark, speak in the light. What you hear in a whisper, proclaim on the housetops.”Matthew 10:27

Some messages are meant to stay whispered, sacred and quiet.

But others?
God wants us to proclaim them—in our writing, our parenting, our podcasts, our conversations.

Not everyone will understand. Not everyone will turn the dial.

But someone out there is waiting for your voice to come through the fog.

Reflection Questions:

  • Is there something God has asked me to speak that I’ve been holding back?

  • Have I been trusting His power to carry the message—or trying to “sound right” on my own?

  • Where might He be asking me to step forward and amplify truth?

💛 Closing

You don’t have to be loud to be clear.
You don’t have to be perfect to be powerful.

If God is calling you to speak, He’ll also give you the signal boost.
Let Him carry it farther than you could ever imagine.

Say yes. Say it out loud.
And let the Spirit turn up the truth.
