Sourdough Churros (Crispy on the Outside, Soft on the Inside) π©
Why This Recipe?
Sourdough churros are crispy, golden, and have a slight tang that makes them irresistibly good! Perfectly paired with chocolate sauce or dulce de leche.
π οΈ Ingredients:
1 cup sourdough discard
1 cup water
1 cup flour
2 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp butter
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
Oil for frying
Cinnamon sugar for coating

1οΈβ£ Boil & Mix: Heat water, butter, sugar, and salt. Stir in flour and mix vigorously.
2οΈβ£ Add Sourdough & Vanilla: Mix well.
3οΈβ£ Pipe & Fry: Pipe into hot oil and fry until golden.
4οΈβ£ Coat & Serve: Roll in cinnamon sugar while hot.
